Monday Monday, Can't Trust that Day

I started out well today, but dinner was a bit of a mess... I went for a 45 minute walk, which mitigates some of the damage I guess.

Breakfast: 
Coffee
The usual cottage cheese/gil/banana/strawberry thing

Lunch
2 fruit yogurts

Dinner
1.5 chicken breasts (on the bone, including wing from one, including skin)
About 3 cups of brown rice with onion and mushrooms (that's where I lost control. I meant to only have one cup... but I was so hungry. I actually had to leave the table and go to the other room and call someone to get myself to stop eating. looks like 600 calories just for the rice... EEP!)

I think the reason you overate at dinner was because you didn't eat nearly enough during the day- no wonder you were so hungry. You only had cheese, yogurt and fruit all day- that's not enough. The trick to dieting is eating enough so that you won't get crazy hungry and overeat. You need a real lunch and several healthy but filling snacks (almonds, veggies and hummous, light bread with a bit of jam or peanut butter) throughout the day. It took me a long time to finally realize that it's better to eat often throughout the day, which is when I finally started losing weight.
